They suckered me in with all the needless destruction of a few forests and then: BAM! It was all a sham. This glorious picture of some nameless macho man felling a worthless pine was a front for some gestapo-like environmentalist agenda to tell us how we might be able to save millions upon millions of papers each year by using e-ink to read our news. It's no wonder the electronics manufacturing plant in the story is headquartered in Germany.
First Ted Stevens is found guilty, then gas prices drop, and now this! It's getting to the point I can't enjoy tree-destruction videos anymore. I think I'll just relax by a tire-fire reading my Exxon-Mobil quarterly statement. Actually, I feel better already.
