I came across an article that told me my Google searches were heating up the planet. At first I was freaked out that this site knew what my Internet searches were, but then I realized they were talking about temperature.
According to physicist Alex Wissner-Gross, performing a few minutes of searches produces the same carbon output as boiling a kettle of water. Good deal! As I am searching for the best island getaway, I am making it a little more pleasant at the same time, whilst I'm guarantying swimming and drinking water for all. Perhaps I'll even see part of Greenland float by while I'm there.
I'm just hoping my particular searches add a little extra heat.
